He has performed thousands of procedures including reconstructive foot surgery, trauma repair and diabetic limb salvage.Dr. Adams has authored several Journal articles, one including his collaborative research findings in the early detection of diabetic neuropathy (loss of feeling). The results are now widely used in standard tests in everyday medical practices. In addition to publishing, Dr. Adams has lectured at Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo, local hospitals and many health fairs and functions. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and has served as President for the San Luis Obispo & Santa Barbara chapter of the Podiatric Medical Association.
