As a family nurse practitioner, I take a holistic approach to care, recognizing each patient as a unique individual and each family as a distinct unit, focusing on physical, emotional and social wellbeing. My clinical interests focus on advancing health equity through primary care, which serves as the foundation and first point of entry into the healthcare system. I am committed to reducing disparities by promoting prevention, improving access and providing person-centered care.|Why I Love My Work|While working as a community nurse, I witnessed firsthand the needs of people living within our area and recognized the importance of diversity within the healthcare workforce. Seeing how health disparities affect us all motivated me to return to school so I could be part of the solution and expand access to equitable, culturally sensitive primary care. What I enjoy most about my job is seeing positive outcomes in my patients’ lives and knowing that the care I provide makes a meaningful difference in their health and wellbeing.|Getting to Know Me|I enjoy spending time in nature, especially under the sun and by the ocean. I am the proud mother of two wonderful sons and together with our dog, they are my greatest joys. I also find personal therapy in painting on canvas. Each piece, though unpolished, uniquely captures my emotions and experiences. Above all, my greatest passion is serving my community with love and dedication.
