My name is Lorri Kenny, RN, PHN, MS, APRN, CNP. I completed a master's degree in nursing at the University of Minnesota and a postgraduate certificate at St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. I have been privileged to work with psychiatric clients of all ages as a certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with over 10 years of experience. I am married with two adult sons and three beautiful grandsons. I value education, exercise and healthy nutrition to complement and support one's mental health. My experience includes working with clients who have struggled with mood disorders, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders and psychosis, as well as other diagnoses. My experiences have shown me that partnering with my clients in a mutually respectful manner provides an opportunity for the best outcomes. I value clients’ experiences and use evidence-based research in my practice, while providing safe and specialized care that meets clients’ needs. I aim to have a professional but interpersonal relationship with clients to support them in their mental health journey.
