Lynne R. Tamburrino, NP

Lynne Tamburrino, APRN, MS, is a nurse practitioner with Atlantic Breast Associates. She is licensed by the State of New Jersey as an advanced practice nurse, certified as an acute care nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and an adult nurse practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides personalized care to patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, benign breast disease or are at high risk for developing the disease.With over 30 years of experience in nursing, including 20 years as a nurse practitioner, Lynne utilizes her advanced knowledge and practice skills to educate women about cancer risk factors, initiate screening aimed at early detection and treatment, and help patients navigate a treatment plan. She works in partnership with physicians and other health professionals throughout the entire continuum of care to best meet patient needs. Lynne is a member of numerous professional organizations relating to breast health including the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the National Consortium of Breast Centers. She is a level III Certified Breast Examiner with the National Consortium of Breast Centers.Lynne earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from The College of New Jersey and a master’s degree in nursing at Seton Hall University, with a focus on the role of the acute care nurse practitioner.
