Dr. Madeline Fisher

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the American College of Physicians, Madeline Fisher, MD, treats patients from newborns to the elderly at Saint Joseph Medical Group – Primary Care. She has practiced medicine since 2020. Her areas of interest include newborn care, preventive care, wellness exams for children and adults, and management of chronic conditions.Dr. Fisher’s aim in her approach to care, she said, “is to have open and honest conversations with my patients and their families, and help them make decisions about their health.” In expressing humankindness, she said she strives to provide the same level of care to all of her patients as she would want for herself or her family. “My goal is to spend time with all of my patients and listen adequately to their concerns,” she said.She chose to combine internal medicine and pediatrics as her specialty because it gave her in-depth training in caring for both children and adults. “My favorite part of my job is being able to connect with whole families, and watching children grow up throughout the years,” she said. Dr. Fisher was inspired to go into medicine when she volunteered in her hometown's hospital as a teen.Dr. Fisher received a bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University and her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where she then served a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Fisher spends her free time with her family and their goldendoodle dog, and enjoys traveling and baking.
