Growing up as an athlete, it was essential for my body to function. My version of happy and healthy is being able to move my body and participate in the activities I enjoy. These aspects are what drew me to orthopedics. The ability to restore the function in someone's body so they can return to living life to the fullest is what brings me joy. Orthopedics is unique in that someone can come in with an injury, arthritis or pain, and we can restore their function. My approach to care is collaborating with my patient to create a plan that they can feel confident about and that aligns with their goals. It's important for the patient to understand their diagnosis and treatment plan to have the best outcome.
