Kristin Caldera, DO, is a UW Health physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor and an associate professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She provides long-term rehabilitation care for people with neurological injuries and developmental disorders.Dr. Caldera regularly works with adults who’ve experienced spinal cord and brain injuries and those who’ve had a stroke. She also works with patients who have multiple sclerosis (MS) and developmental disorders such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida. She may prescribe medication, exercise therapy or speech therapy to meet individual goals. Dr. Weigert collaborates with other specialists, including social services and support if needed.In addition to patient care, Dr. Weigert conducts research in performing arts medicine.
