For me, the joy of practicing family medicine is the ability to care for patients of all ages with a wide variety of conditions, as well as the privilege of following them throughout their lives. I spend most of my time in the clinic, but I also enjoy the unique opportunity to practice medicine in the hospital. My experience treating patients with more acute illnesses is why I place such a strong emphasis on health maintenance and disease prevention in the outpatient setting. I believe in a patient-doctor relationship built on mutual respect and trust.
