Dr. Mariam M. Zeini

Dr. Mariam Zeini is a board-certified pediatrician at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. As a hospitalist, she sees pediatric patients in the hospital and coordinates their care with specialty physicians. Her duties include: Ordering and interpreting lab tests Prescribing medications Referring to specialists when needed Overseeing patient care Dr. Zeini’s Training Dr. Zeini earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. She completed her pediatric residency at Orlando Health, where she was chief resident at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer and now serves as associate program director for the pediatric residency program. She has a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and microbiology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where she graduated summa cum laude. About Dr. Zeini Dr. Zeini is a fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics (FAAP) and is certified in general pediatrics. She also is a certified lactation counselor (CLC). Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Breastfeeding Medicine and the Florida Medical Association. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Zeini also has held several teaching positions, including clinical assistant professor at Florida State University and assistant professor at UCF. She has sat on nearly a dozen medical committees and has done extensive research on breastfeeding and pediatric care. Her interests include medical student and resident education, breastfeeding and underserved populations. She is fluent in English and Arabic.

Dr. Zeini is board certified in American Board Of Pediatrics. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 1 peer reviewed article.
