Overview
Marina is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Certified Asthma Educator who joined Capital Area Pediatrics in 2018.
Marina comes to us from Boston Children’s Hospital where she worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Urgent Care and Pulmonary clinics. This is where she formed her special interest in pediatric allergy and asthma care. Marina received her doctorate from the University of Virginia and both her undergraduate and Masters’ degrees from Boston College. During her schooling, she had the opportunity to spend a semester abroad in Ecuador providing primary care.
Marina is accompanied by her husband and daughter in Herndon, VA. In her spare time, Marina enjoys hiking, biking, cooking and exploring all the museums (and playgrounds!) DC has to offer.
