Marisa Cooke is a physician assistant at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, where she specializes in breast care and surgery. She runs the Breast Diagnostic Clinic and provides clinical care for patients with benign, high-risk and malignant diagnoses. Through the MMS program, Marisa completed surgical rotations in orthopedic surgery at Alexian Brothers Health System in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.About MarisaBefore joining Orlando Health, Marisa worked as a surgical physician assistant at Western DuPage Obstetrics & Gynecology in Downers Grove. She also was a preceptor in women’s health for physician assistant students at Midwestern University, where she lectured on women’s health.She currently is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
