Sports medicine, Acute injury, High school athletics Since I decided to become a physician, sports medicine is always what I have wanted to do. Throughout my days in competitive sports and now as a recreational athlete, I have encountered numerous excellent primary care sports medicine physicians as well as orthopedic surgeons. I try to take something from each of my experiences as both a patient and a life-long learner in the medical field. I strive to get people back to their activities as quickly as possible. When not in the clinic or on the sideline, I love spending time with my wife and two children.
