Hello, I’m Martin Apt, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 30 years of experience. My journey began as an Army Medic, where I gained valuable medical and psychological insights. Growing up with parents who had mental illness, I developed a deep understanding of the challenges individuals and families face. This personal experience, along with my work in psychiatric hospitals, has shaped my compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
I specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia, panic attacks, eating disorders, trauma, and more. My treatment approach integrates therapy techniques with evidence-based medication management, ensuring a well-rounded and effective plan for each patient. I believe in creating a supportive environment where individuals feel heard and empowered in their mental health journey.
Collaboration is key to successful treatment, and I work closely with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans. My goal is to simplify the mental health process, making care accessible and effective. I offer telehealth services through a secure video platform, available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or a loved one, I’m here to help guide you toward healing and mental wellness.
