
Overview
Dr. Martin Citardi received his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Yale University and then pursued a rhinology fellowship at the Georgia Rhinology and Sinus Center. Certified by the American Board of Otorhinolaryngology, Dr. Citardi is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American College of Surgeons and the American Rhinologic Society. His clinical practice focuses upon disorders of the nose and sinuses, and his special clinical interests include refractory sinusitis, revision sinus surgery, cerebral spinal fluid, rhinorrhea, computer-aided surgery (image-guided surgery) and minimally invasive anterior skull base surgery. An internationally recognized rhinologist, Dr. Citardi also serves as professor and chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. Author of more than 75 publications, Dr. Citardi has edited a textbook on computer-aided otorhinolaryngology.
