Pediatric Hospitalist I enjoy working at Methodist Hospital were I take care of many newborns in our Family Birth Center, as well as those older children and adolescents who are admitted with illness. Although hospitalization can be scary and stressful for patient and family, I enjoy helping during an illness or injury and do my best to ensure they are back to health as soon as possible! I also enjoy involvement in various quality improvement projects within the organization, and am actively involved in simulation at Methodist Hospital to improve the care our teams deliver for newborns and pediatric patients in emergency situations. I enjoy my role as a pediatrician, witnessing birth and educating new parents about the wonders of a new baby. I also care for children and teens with illness or injury and am glad to help provide understanding and comfort as families deal with illness and gradually improve to health. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family cooking, staying active and traveling.
