Overview
As a pediatric endocrinologist, I enjoy caring for children and adolescents with type 1 or type 2 diabetes; treating concerns regarding growth or pubertal development; and caring for problems affecting thyroid, adrenal or pituitary function. I also have a special interest in improving patient experiences during the transition from pediatric to adult care. I strive to listen well, build trust and become a dependable guide for my young patients and their families. I make it a point to explain concepts and ideas in understandable terms as well as create customized treatment plans that always put the child first.
