Overview
Dr. Matthew Lindsey is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spine surgery for patients of all ages. He treats cervical, thoracic, and lumbar degenerative diseases; Parkinson's disease; spinal deformities and infections; and trauma cases, employing advanced surgical techniques, such as the TOPS spinal implant system; cervical disc arthroplasty; lumbar disc arthroplasty; spinous process split lumbar decompression; and robotic spinal treatments. Dr. Lindsey's mission is to identify the right treatment at the right time, which means understanding his patients' goals, motivations, and desires at the forefront, and then finding an optimal spinal treatment with the least amount of surgery. Dr. Lindsey is an instructor with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and director, Division of Reconstructive Spine Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
