He completed his residency training at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania, a level I trauma center, where he was named chief resident for his 5th year. Dr. Geswell then returned to New York to pursue subspecialty fellowship training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. He had the opportunity to work alongside the team of physicians for the New York Jets. Dr. Geswell's main areas of interest include sports medicine and general orthopedics. His sports medicine fellowship provided additional training in various arthroscopic procedures for the knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and elbow. Dr. Geswell also has a passion for general orthopedics, including fracture care and knee and shoulder joint replacement. In his free time, Dr. Geswell enjoys most outdoor activities such as playing or watching sports, golfing, skiing, fishing, boating, and running.
