Overview
I treat patients with kidney disease and those who are at risk for kidney disease. There are a number of common conditions that lead to kidney disease, including diabetes and high blood pressure. I have a specific interest in helping patients recognize and manage these common conditions early on in an effort to limit further damage to the kidneys. For patients with advanced kidney disease, I specialize in discussions about referral for transplant and about the different modalities of dialysis available, including some which can be done at home. I believe in shared decision-making, where the patient is an active participant in their care. When I'm not at work, I enjoy traveling and trying new cuisines with my family.
