Dr. Matthew K. Stein is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in total hip and knee replacement surgery. Throughout his career, Dr. Stein has been dedicated to improving patient care and advancing the field of orthopaedic surgery. He has been recognized for his research including multiple awards. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, covering a range of topics from hip fracture care and joint infection to resident leadership training and the mental health of orthopaedic surgeons. He has also been an editor for The University of Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Journal. Dr. Stein's commitment to leadership is evident in his experience as an Inaugural Resident for the McNulty Leadership Program at Wharton and his participation in the Wharton Leadership Program in Orthopaedic Surgery multiple times. He has also given lectures on topics such as cemented prostheses, implant design, and leadership. His diverse experience and commitment to leadership and research demonstrate his dedication to providing the best possible care for his patients. He is joining the Medical University of South Carolina as an Adult Reconstruction Surgeon.

Dr. Lee Leddy did his undergraduate work at Emory University where he received his BS in biological science while lettering on the varsity basketball team. He then received his M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Leddy went back to Emory University to complete his internship and residency in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Richard J. Friedman, M.D. FRCSC, is chief of shoulder and elbow surgery and professor of orthopaedic surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and an adjunct professor of bioengineering at Clemson University. He was formerly the chairman of the department of orthopaedic surgery and medical director of the joint replacement program at Roper Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina.Dr. Friedman received his M.D. degree in 1980 from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and completed residencies in surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and in orthopedic surgery at the Harvard combined orthopedic residency program in Boston.
