
Overview
Dr. Maxwell SanFilippo-Burchman is a pediatric pulmonologist who treats respiratory system disorders in patients from birth to 18 years old. He specializes in diagnosing and treating an array of complex respiratory conditions such as rare lung disease; cystic fibrosis; and asthma. He regularly performs bronchoscopies and interprets pulmonary function tests (PFTs). Dr. Burchman's mission is to create a healthy environment for his patients by educating and managing them and their families in inpatient and outpatient settings. He also utilizes the most up-to-date, evidence-based practices and encourages his patients to take a more active role in their health journey. Dr. Burchman is an assistant professor with the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
