Overview
As an internal medicine physician, I look after adults in the primary care and inpatient setting. I enjoy taking care of individuals with a wide range of conditions, and enjoy collaborating with other providers to find the best possible answers for my patients. I aim to deliver exceptional and efficient care so that you can dedicate your time to the other areas in your life that are meaningful to you. My clinical interests span the entire breadth of internal medicine, from acute accidents to chronic illness management. Beyond medicine, I enjoy swimming and biking, along with exploring the Durham and Triangle communities. I am incredibly privileged to be part of your health care team.

I use an approach that is simple and effective, and evidence-based. Medical conditions, like type 2 diabetes, obesity, hypertension, GERD, fatty liver, and PCOS, can all be improved or even reversed through food. I am specialized in internal Medicine and obesity medicine, and I am the author of the books End Your Carb Confusion, The New Atkins for a New You, Keto Clarity, and Cholesterol Clarity.
