Overview
Philosophy of care | My philosophy is to improve each patient's quality of life as well as their understanding of allergic disease. My goal is to partner with patients to determine the right treatment plan for them. | Why I entered medicine | I entered medicine because of my love of science and desire to help people. Allergy immunology is a rapidly evolving field in terms of our understanding of disease and available treatments. It is also one that affects so many people. I love the longitudinal care I can provide for patients young and old and see their improved quality of life at subsequent visits. | Community involvement | My husband and I always contribute to gift drives during the holiday season. We are interested in other opportunities to give back to the community and serve charities. | Personal interests | I love to be outdoors and hike with my husband, Dan, our Chiweenie, Porkchop, and our two young children. Swimming is a big part of our lives as well; I met Dan on our collegiate swim team! At home, I'm always trying new baking recipes, especially cookies and scones.
