Dr. Megan Ottomeyer specializes in neonatal intensive care services for infants - from premature to full-term - in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She provides antenatal consultation; Level II-IV neonatal intensive care; and outpatient care in the high-risk nursery clinic setting. Her research interests include chronic respiratory failure and home mechanical ventilation in neonates, as well as children with medical complexities. Dr. Ottomeyer provides exceptional medical care to babies in the NICU, while also supporting each family throughout the sometimes difficult and frequently emotional course of their baby's illness. She is a reliable resource to families when they are at their most vulnerable, helping them navigate the fragile, early days of their baby's life. Dr. Ottomeyer is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatrics - Neonatology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
