
Overview
Dr. Michael Bishop is a family medicine physician at Intermountain Health's North Cache Valley Clinic, providing care to patients in Logan and its surrounding communities. His services include acute sick visits, preventative healthcare for all ages, wellness visits for adults and children, IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal, knee and shoulder joint injections, and minor skin and nail procedures.Dr. Bishop grew up in Rigby, Idaho, and attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. From 2010 to 2012, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paris, France, and then returned to BYU, where he graduated with a degree in Neuroscience in 2015. He worked as a medical assistant in a dermatology clinic in his hometown and then was a student researcher at George Washington University in Washington, DC, before starting medical school at the University of Utah in 2017. He returned to Provo to complete his Family Medicine training at the Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency, graduating in 2024.When not working, Dr. Bishop enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, mastering the art of French cuisine, playing badminton, and watching BYU sports. He is grateful to be a part of the North Cache Valley Clinic team.
