I have always been fascinated with stories and its impact on how we learn, how we treat others, and how we remember loved ones. Practicing medicine allows me the absolute honor and privilege to become part of someone else's story and to combine science and humanities to get a happier ending. I love this challenging field so much. I can't believe I get to do it as a career. What I want my patients to know about me:I was born and raised in Scranton, PA. Both my parents are Vietnamese immigrants and without their love, hard work, and patience I would not be here today.From personal and professional experience, being hospitalized is jarring and scary. If you have questions, no matter how dumb you think it might be, please ask!What I do when I'm not seeing patients:In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, playing board games with friends, and getting lost in the woods. I may also have a slight addiction to cooking shows. I just started doing hot yoga, and it's the hardest thing I have ever done! I have a puppy named Penny. She's a shy Cavapoo and barks way too much, but, man, she's cute.
