Overview
As a rheumatologist, I specialize in diagnosing and treating autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis/ankylosing spondylitis, gout, Sjogren’s syndrome, systemic sclerosis, inflammatory myositis and vasculitis, among others. I have a special interest in treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus as well as osteoporosis and diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound. I also provide various joint injection therapies for the treatment of arthritis. I typically do not provide long-term management of chronic pain conditions, including fibromyalgia and persistent, non-inflammatory low back or neck pain. My goal as a doctor is to provide the best possible care and to personalize treatment plans based on patient preferences. I enjoy building relationships with my patients and their families and work to stay updated on the latest evidence-based treatment options available to treat rheumatology conditions.
