Overview
I’m a family medicine doctor who enjoys getting to know each of my patients and helping them achieve their health goals. I have a passion for teaching and love discussing why things happen and how we can intervene. As I get to know my patients, we work together to develop personalized care plans to treat illness and promote wellness. These plans may include osteopathic manipulative medicine utilizing stretching, manipulation and massage to relieve muscle tension and enhance the body’s natural healing. I have completed additional training in this area of medicine. As an avid hockey player and referee, I enjoy sports medicine. I love seeing kids and getting to know families as they grow. I chose family medicine because I liked all aspects of medicine and love getting to know families. My general approach to practicing medicine is to learn about my patients’ wishes and concerns, understand the barriers to their health goals, present solutions or possible improvements, and then follow through to adjust as needed.
