Misty was introduced to healthcare early on by her mother, a paramedic, registered nurse and emergency medical technician instructor. ""She was one of the most intelligent and influential people I have ever known,"" Misty says. Becoming a nurse practitioner was a way that Misty chose to give back to her community. ""I enjoy that I can make an impact in someone's life and with their wellbeing and happiness,"" she says.
