Inspired by my father, a pediatrician, I was drawn to the study of medicine and the rewards of a career in pediatrics. I chose pediatrics because of the ability to follow patients from birth until adulthood and to create lasting and rewarding relationships with patients and their families. | Community involvement | As a mom, I value spending time with my own children. In my free time, I volunteer at their school. | Personal interests | I have a particular interest in the study of foreign languages. I grew up in a bilingual Italian household and studied Spanish through college. I also enjoy baking and traveling with my family.
