Dr. Monica Rebielak

Monica Rebielak, DO joined The Iowa Clinic Transplant Surgery department, drawn by the Clinic’s commitment to patient care through a collaborative care setting. She chose transplant surgery because of its profound potential to change lives for both donors and recipients. For Dr. Rebielak, seeing the drastic improvement in her patient’s quality of life after transplant is one of the most rewarding parts of her practice. Originally from Chicago, Dr. Rebielak has a passion for rowing, having rowed crew in college. Outside of work, she enjoys touring museums, camping, and spending time with friends and family. If she weren’t a healthcare provider, she might have pursued a career as a painter.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Fasciotomy.

Dr. Rebielak is board certified in American Osteopathic Board Of Surgery. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 4 peer reviewed articles.
