I received my M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Hacettepe, Faculty of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey. I received my neurology training at the Univeristy of Minnesota and Affiliated Hospitals and graduated in 1997. I completed my first Fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Chicago. I completed a second fellowship for sleep medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachussetts. Currently my practice areas is sleep disorders medicine. I speak Turkish, German and Italian.
