I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and relocated to the area to continue my career at Duke Health in Orthopaedics. I have always had a passion for orthopedics, as I started my healthcare journey as a CNA and came full circle to caring for patients as a physician assistant. I am a part of the adult reconstruction team, where I focus on caring for patients with hip and knee conditions. I work with patients both before and after surgery, guiding them through treatment options that may include conservative care or joint replacement surgery. My goal is always to create a personalized plan that helps each patient regain mobility and improve their quality of life. It is incredibly rewarding to see patients return to the activities they love. Outside of work, I enjoy crocheting, painting, exploring local parks, and spending time with my family. These hobbies keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, a principle I also encourage my patients to adopt in their own lives.
