Overview
My current focus is the treatment of general surgical problems, especially hernias and diseases of the gallbladder. I've received training in various surgical approaches to these problems, so I work with each patient to make a treatment plan targeting the best outcome for that individual. Often this means performing a minimally-invasive, robotic operation. My commitment to personalized surgical treatment is reinforced by my research, which investigates how the genetic factors that make each person unique impact the immune system. I truly enjoy the work I'm entrusted to do with my hands and mind in the hospital. My other favorite places to be are in church and outside enjoying creation with my wife and daughter.
