Philosophy of care | I believe there is both power and comfort in knowledge. Additionally, I believe each person is unique and knows their own body better than anyone else. For these reasons, I base my care around the goal of being an asset and dependable resource to help you best understand yourself, your condition and your care plan. I provide my patients with a comfortable and safe environment to work as a team toward a healthy mind and body. | Why I entered medicine | I have always wanted to be a part of something that helps others feel their best. The career path of a physician assistant allows me to connect with people of all ages, different stories and unique life stages. I developed a specific passion for women’s health, offering a strong support system for those constantly transitioning among vulnerable aspects of their lives. I am fortunate to work in a field that allows me to provide my patients with the compassion and care they deserve during these times. | Personal interests | I consider myself a foodie, a bookworm, a sports enthusiast and a traveler. I love trying new recipes in the kitchen, exploring a new places and reading (and re-reading) any book I can get my hands on. My favorite time of the year (aside from Halloween) is March Madness. I grew up very involved with my local fire department, resulting in a deep-rooted love for my family, extended family and community.
