Dr. Nicole Slone

Dr. Nicole Slone is a double-board-certified pediatric critical care physician with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She cares for seriously ill infants and children, including those with injuries from traumatic accidents, respiratory failure, septic shock, neurological emergencies and after complex surgeries. Her areas of expertise include: Diagnosing acute and life-threatening illnesses Stabilizing critically ill patients Sepsis Respiratory failure Traumatic brain injuries Advanced airway management, including ventilators Procedural sedation Dr. Slone’s Training Dr. Slone earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, where she also received her medical degree. She completed her pediatric residency at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, both in Memphis, and served as chief resident in her final year. Dr. Slone completed her fellowship in pediatric critical care at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. About Dr. Slone Dr. Slone is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a fellow of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Stone has volunteered her medical expertise with Riley International Heart Mission to help children in Amman, Jordan, and an outreach trip to Quito, Ecuador, through the Florida State University College of Medicine. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
