Overview
I love my job as a family medicine doctor because I am able to work alongside a diverse group of patients during different stages of life to make important health care decisions. I enjoy being present with my patients, listening to their concerns and working together to form a treatment plan. Though I practice full-spectrum family medicine, I am most passionate about preventive health, complex chronic disease management, geriatrics, community health, women’s health, obstetrical care and pediatrics. Born and raised in California, I moved to the Twin Cities for medical school and eventually found myself married to a Minnesotan. Together, we have a rambunctious daughter who keeps us entertained at all times. Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering to mentor young scholars, reading, crocheting, relaxing outdoors and spending time with my family.
