Dr. Nury Yim
Overview
Nury Yim, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group. Fellowship-trained in hand surgery, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions of the hand up to the shoulder.Dr. Yim appreciates the intricate anatomy of the hand and upper extremity and seeks to restore mobility and function in patients where this has been compromised due to trauma, sports injuries, congenital anomalies, tumors, arthritis, or other conditions. His expertise includes surgical and nonsurgical treatment approaches as well as superior diagnostic and decision-making abilities. Dr. Yim aims to restore hand health and mobility for day-to-day activities by developing an individualized treatment plan that addresses each patient’s specific needs and goals. In addition to collaborating on research and publishing numerous peer-reviewed journal articles in the field of orthopedics, he has provided physician coverage for college basketball and high school football teams.After earning his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, Dr. Yim completed a residency in orthopedics at New York University Langone Orthopedic Hospital, NYC. He pursued fellowship training at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA, where he worked with leading hand specialists and developed advanced surgical skills. Dr. Yim is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
