Overview
Originally from Panama, Dr. Barrios received his medical degree from the University of Panama School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training in family medicine at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital Family Practice Program in Pennsylvania. Board certified in family practice by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Barrios has practiced medicine in Houston since 1993. He treats patients of all ages, providing the full spectrum of family care from pediatrics to geriatrics. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Barrios focuses on preventive care, counseling and encourages his patients to be responsible for their wellbeing. His goal is to help each patient achieve the best possible health. He is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Practice, American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.
