Overview
Patty joined Surgical Consult Services after a long history with Morristown Medical Center, that began with her having been born there, volunteering as a high school student, and then returning to work as a nurse for more than 20 years – many of those years in the Intensive Care Unit at Morristown Medical Center before she joined Surgical Consult Services in 2003. She received her nursing degree, with an associate degree in applied science, from County College of Morris in 1988, her bachelor of science degree in nursing from St. Elizabeth’s College in 1994, and her master of science degree in nursing from William Paterson University in 2006. She is board certified as an adult care nurse practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is a certified critical care nurse (CCRN), certified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Patty is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the national honor society for nursing, was recognized with the Critical Care Nurse of the Year Award in 1997, and won the Humanitarian in Patient Care Award in 1999. Patty enjoys traveling, reading and cooking.
