I enjoy being a general surgeon and being able to take care of a wide variety of surgical issues and injuries. My favorite part of being a surgeon is performing minimally invasive procedures, which led me to develop an interest in weight loss surgery, foregut surgery, and hernia repair. It is very rewarding to fix a hernia and help patients return to their best quality of life. As a bariatric surgeon, I get to develop a lasting relationship with patients throughout their weight loss journey and watch how weight loss can transform their life.
