She chose to focus in the area of family medicine to provide personalized care to patients across the lifespan. Payton became certified as a physician assistant in 2024 but she has worked in the field since 2019. Her experience runs the gamut from orthopedics to geriatric medicine.Payton graduated with her undergraduate degree in biology from Coker University in Hartsville, S.C. She earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies while attending the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas.
