Overview
Dr. Princess Mark-Adjeli is a medical oncologist with focus on breast and gynecologic cancers. She is passionate about treating women’s malignancies and providing to patient-centered care, finding the best individual plan for each patient through targeted therapies, immunotherapy and chemotherapy. She also recognizes gaps in cancer care and is dedicated to their eradication. In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Mark-Adjeli has a great experience in designing innovative clinical trials and helping to bring new treatment options to her patients. Dr. Mark-Adjeli earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rhode Island College and received her medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine. She underwent residency training in internal medicine residency at Long Island Community Hospital affiliated with NYU Langone in Patchogue, NY, where she also served as Chief Medical Resident. She then completed her combined hematology- oncology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where she received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. During her fellowship, she gained experience managing complex cases through multi-disciplinary care, a practice which she continues at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
