Dr. Rachel Lee earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed her residency in general surgery at Emory University in Atlanta and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She also holds a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Lee specializes in general thoracic surgery for adult patients. Her clinical interests include lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mediastinal masses, thymoma and thyme cancer, chest wall tumors, tracheal surgery, pleural diseases, pectus excavatum and carinatum, robotic surgery (including lobectomy and segmentectomy) and minimally invasive esophagectomy.
