Philosophy of care | My philosophy encompasses compassionate, unbiased and patient-centered care. I believe in treating you as a whole person. I strive to build connections, trust and understanding on a daily basis. Such foundations support open communication between me and you, ensuring you are comfortable making informed decisions and feel well understood and educated about your condition | Why I entered medicine | Growing up with a younger sister who has a variety of medical conditions and intellectual disabilities, I have always wanted to give back and help others the way my sister's medical team has helped her. I have a passion for taking care of others in their most difficult times. Throughout my education I had a huge interest in anatomy and physiology. A career as a physician assistant allows me to use my knowledge and problem-solving skills in combination with my empathetic nature to provide excellent patient care. | Community involvement | I have grown up in the Lehigh Valley and have connections throughout the community. My background as a competitive swimmer has given me many opportunities to be involved in community events. Now as a practicing clinician, I strive to be involved in the community and give back as much as possible. A dream of mine is to participate in medical mission trips to underserved areas. | Personal interests | My personal interests outside of medicine include being active, traveling and spending time with family, friends, and my dogs.
