Rami Arrouk, MD, is a fellowship-trained pediatric gastroenterologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology by the American Board of Pediatrics, he has clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating disorders including unexplained bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic abdominal pain, feeding problems, acute and chronic liver disease, chronic constipation and diarrhea.After earning his medical degree at the University of Damascus in Syria, Dr. Arrouk performed his pediatrics residency at University of Toledo School of Medicine, Toledo, OH. He then completed a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA.Dr. Arrouk served as an assistant professor in the division of pediatric gastroenterology at the University of Augusta in Georgia and as an adjunct professor in pediatric gastroenterology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. He also held positions as a staff pediatrician at children’s hospitals in North Carolina and California before joining AMG. Dr. Arrouk is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
His clinical expertise encompasses Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Indigestion, and Diarrhea.
