Overview
Dr. Ramon Solis earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Lamar University in Beaumont and his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He also completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at UTHealth Houston. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Solis has been in practice in Katy since 1991 and treats patients ages 18 and older. His primary clinical interests include lipids, metabolism, thyroid and functional medicine, and peptide therapy. His practice emphasizes health optimization, anti-aging and an integrative approach to medicine. As a concierge physician, he sees a smaller number of patients, giving him more time to discuss concerns, labs, X-rays and imaging studies and to work on healthier lifestyles. Dr. Solis is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the American Board of Internal Medicine. A resident of Katy, Dr. Solis is married and the father of three daughters. Away from his practice, he plays the guitar, takes part in anti-aging longevity therapies and practices yoga, tai chi and qigong. He also enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren.
