As a student, I was consistently drawn to science courses, and this shaped my path throughout my education. I remember learning about the heart in high school anatomy class shortly after our family dog was diagnosed with a heart condition, and realizing that I was learning concepts that could be applied to all living beings. What I want my patients to know about me:I feel that it is important to take as much time as necessary to carefully listen to and address my patients' concerns. I also hope that good communication will go both ways. I want my patients to tell me if they don't understand something so that I can provide better care.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy spending time with my husband, identical twin sister, and the rest of my family in my free time. You can find me outside on any day that the sun is shining! I enjoy weight lifting and I am currently training for my first half marathon.
