Overview
Growing up in Chapel Hill I knew at young age that I wanted to be in the medical field. I spent my undergraduate education at UNC and decided that a career as a physician assistant was the right choice for me. After continuing my education at East Carolina University in rural North Carolina, I decided to return back home because of my love for the area. What I truly enjoy about being a primary care provider is the continuity of care that I am able to provide. I love getting to know my patients and the ability to follow them through their lifetime. During my time off, I enjoy trying out new restaurants, yoga and spending time with my family.
Dr. May is board certified in National Comm On Certif Of Physician Assistants. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 1 peer reviewed article.
