Overview
I was drawn to family medicine because it gives me the opportunity to take care of patients of all ages, as well as incorporate preventive health, chronic disease management and mental health care into my practice. I especially enjoy providing sexual and reproductive health care (including IUD and Nexplanon insertion and PrEP prescribing), LGBTQ health and addiction medicine (including buprenorphine prescribing). My philosophy of care is that every patient is the expert on their life and deserves to feel heard and respected by their doctor. My goal is also to honor each person's history and experience, and foster a trauma-informed approach when caring for my patients.
